The Schaffhausen installation is located in the inner-city at the edge of the pedestrian area, just a one minute walk from the train station. It is the only public automated parking system in Switzerland, deomonstrating the ease of use of an automated parking system without instruction or training.  

The installation is used for long-term and short-term parking. It is privately financed and highly profitable for the investor.
